You Never Wanted It Bad Enough.

If you don't need to be successful, you probably won't be. That's the hard truth about getting where you want to be.

You have to want it. Bad. You have to need it. Bad.

It has to be an obsession. A blinding focus.

It can't be optional. It can't be a "nice to have".

It's has to be an obsession that ripples through every fiber of your being.

You have to want it like you want a cup of cold water in the middle of the summer. You have to need it like a drowning man needs one more gasp of oxygen.

It's about desperation. Intensity.

It's about not giving yourself any other option but to succeed. When those are the stakes -- all or nothing -- you find yourself driving past "nothing" to win it all.

When there's a cushy second prize and an acceptable third place finish, there's no reason to go for the glory.

There's no urgency to put yourself through the pain and agony from putting it all on the line.

And that's why you're not successful.

Because you don't need it bad enough. You don't want it bad enough.

It's not the driving drum beat of your soul's call-to-arms.

You wouldn't admit this out loud -- and certainly not in your business mastermind group -- but success is optional for you.

You're not serious about being amazing.

If you can keep doing what you're doing right now and drive marginal growth, then that's something you're interested in. If you can get to where you want to be without having to suffer or sweat, then that's a plan you're interested in pursuing.

But if it requires radical behavior and chaotic energy -- if it demands that you push all your chips into the middle of the table -- that's not something you're interested in.

And so you make excuses.

You spend more time looking like you're changing the world than actually doing something that makes a difference. You posture and primp and pander.

You spend more time planning to escape from the agony of hard work rather than just doing what needs to be done.

And day by day, your soul dries up a little bit more. You stop believing in you. You lose your way.

You give up on your dream on the inside.

And then one day you turn around and find out that you're nowhere near to where you thought you wanted to be.

And the truth is hard but simple -- you never wanted it bad enough. Because if you did, you wouldn't be where you are right now.

Maybe it's time to stop pretending and start trying more. Living more. Caring more. Doing what needs to be done.

Don't hold back now.

It might be the fatal decision that impacts the rest of your life.

Try more. Today.
