The Only Fair Chance You Have.

The only fair chance you have is the one you give yourself. There are no magic formulas or secret processes that will force life to treat you fairly.

There is nothing you can do to guarantee that you'll get enough time or respect from those around you to accomplish your dream.

The truth about getting things done is that you never seem to have enough time or help.

It always takes you longer than you think it will. It's always a little bit tougher than you imagined it would be. It requires more money and sweat and personal investment.

You think you're ready for it until you're elbow deep in your situation. And then you realize that if you're going to get by you can't coast. You can't put your life on autopilot. You have to grab the sword and wage war. You have to go out and take what's missing.

That means you have to give yourself a fair chance.

You have to do everything in your power to tip the odds in your favor. That really comes down to 3 basic ways to live.

  1. You have to be financially fit. --  You can't spend money on everything that you want. Money is fuel for your dream. Which means you have to only spend money on things that matter. On things you need. You have to deny yourself everything else -- so that you have enough fuel to reach your dreams. Stop wasting fuel.
  2. You have to be physically fit. -- Success usually doesn't demand that you become a runway model or a CrossFit champion. You don't need to have bulging muscles or a beautifully tanned body. But you do need to be able to stand the test of working hard and sometimes going without sleep. Be careful how you treat your body.
  3. You have to be mentally fit. -- It's hard to stay positive when no one else around you thinks you can do it. Sometimes, you're not even sure if you can do what you want to do. Which is why you have to do everything in your power to keep your head in the game. You need coaches and mentors and great friends who can keep you focused.

If you've ever wanted something more for yourself and failed trying to get it, then you know how tough life can be to you at times.

You know how much it can hurt to make progress -- to win wars.

Which is why you have to take care of yourself along the way. You had to stay fit -- financially and physically and mentally -- because there's no one who cares more about your dream than you.

And if it's going to be, it's because you made it so. So dig in and stay focused. Live your life ready to become a champion at any time.

You don't know when your moment will come. Be ready.
