What You See Is What You Thought.

You see what you want to see.

Sometimes you see what's not there -- simply because you're looking for it to be there.

You see the ghosts of criticism and failure and other people's expectations because you're consumed by what other people think about you.

Instead of seeing the positive side of a situation, you notice the failures. You see a good situation and interpret it as something that's bad.

You see what you want to see.

You notice the details and make sure they align with your plan or you gloss over them and hope that everything works out okay. It's you gambling on your future by turning a blind eye.

What you see is what you thought. If you think you see the possibility of success in the results of failure then you'll keep working to achieve a successful outcome.

If you don't see anything other than your own opinions, then you shouldn't wonder why other people think you're selfish and don't want to be around you.

What you see is telling.

It tells a story about your expectations, your fears, and your values.

If what you see isn't something that's pretty maybe you need to fix what you spend your time thinking about.

That's all you're ever going to see.
