You'll never quit all of a sudden. You'll never just decide you've had enough without first thinking about it. That's the danger of thinking negatively. That's the problem with allowing yourself to entertain the notion that you might not be strong enough to get to where you want to be.
The moment you start thinking about quitting is the moment you start losing.
Instead of strategizing ways to go beyond ordinary to do something with your life that is remarkable, you find yourself thinking about socially acceptable ways to give up.
You find yourself looking for excuses to announce to everybody else what you have already decided in your mind --- that you're giving up. Quitting. Throwing in the towel.
You quit on the inside long before you quit on the outside.
That's the danger of giving up slowly. You look like you're healthy. You talk like you're healthy. You even do some of the things that a healthy person would likely do.
But inside your spirit is rotting.
Your soul is dead. Your dream is vanquished. There is no light. Just the robotic after-life impulses of a dead man walking.
Inspiration is what you lose just after you stop looking for it.
Like oxygen or air or food, you can't decide to do it one time and expect to stay alive for long.
You have to keep feeding your body and feeding your soul -- driving ahead vigorously with powerful thoughts and motivated peers.
You have to say obsessed about your dream.Refuse to entertain loser thinking.
Surround yourself with influences who decry negativity.
Like a warrior on the path to conquest you have to be intentional about the battle ahead -- the battle in your head.
Do things that nurture your soul even when they don't seem to have an immediate impact on your pocketbook or your future plans.
Invest in being fit -- financially, physically, and mentally. Hold yourself accountable for who you are, not just the activities you stumble through.
Demand greatness from yourself. Think about it every day.
Don't put out the flame of your passion by quitting slowly on the inside.
Keep fighting. You're worth it.
