What Heroes Do That Make Them Super.

Every superhero knows the secret for greatness that most of us forget. They know that heroes are healers. It might look like a superhero is rescuing a baby from a burning building or stopping a super villain before he destroys the earth, but he is really just healing.

When you put on the cape you are a physician.

A shaman. A medicine man.

Every rescue is just another chance to heal.

That's what makes a hero super. They do what the rest of us aspire to be. A healer.

The truth is that all of us are a little bit broken. We are all a little bit tired from the battle. Wounded from the combat. Sore. Frustrated. And angry.

It's on all of sides -- business and home, community, church, and school.

The battle rages on and you feel like you're only hanging on.

Waiting until that moment when you lose your grip on everything you've worked for.

But  just when you think you might not be able to make it, a hero reaches down from the top of the cliff and pulls you up.

And for a few moments you're healed. It's all better. You feel like you've been given another chance.

What washes over you is an enormous sense of gratitude and reverence for the helping hand that made you whole.

That's the person you should be. The person who heals.

Be the person stretches out of hand and lists someone back from the brink of disaster. Be the superhero others need you to be.

It could just be a smile. It could be a moment of your time.  A  kind word. It could be money or attention, advice or insight.

You'll know what you need to do when you see what's broken around you.

And then, it will just be question about whether ready to be a superhero or not.
