Sometimes It's Not You.

Not everyone is going to like you. No matter what you do, there will always be people who hate your guts. They will misjudge your motives, misunderstand you're thinking, and often outright detest everything you are as a person.

There's nothing that you can do about that.

You can round out the rough edges to your personality -- and you should. You can improve how you communicate -- and you should.

You can work on being more diplomatic, creating less collateral damage, and developing more emotional intelligence -- and you should.

That won't change much.

Just because you're willing to improve "you" doesn't mean that you'll silence your critics.

That's not an excuse to be a jerk. That's not a licensed to flaunt the weaknesses of your personality.

That's not really important at all except to not that criticism can be frustrating.

It hurts.

The constant pounding from cynics and skeptics can leave you questioning your core values and asking yourself if what you're doing is really worth it after all.

When you're thinking those things, it's important to remember that sometimes it's not you. It's them.

Keep improving you.

And keep ignoring them
