What It Really Means To Be A Screw-Up.

You're going to make mistakes. You are going to try hard and end up losing.

You're not going to get it right every first time.

You're going to bite off more than you can ever chew.

You're going to screw up.

You're going to aim high and miss the mark.

You're going to create something that looks ugly.

You're going to screw up. Fall short of your goal. Fail. Lose. And look like a fool.

No amount of money can save you from failing. Not enough information, not enough brain power, not enough time -- none of these can save you from making mistakes.

From making many of them. Daily.

And maybe that's not such a bad thing. Maybe trying and failing is just another way of laying it all on the line. And then crossing that line.

All of life is an experiment if you're willing to be tested.

There isn't anything you can't do if you're willing to do all you can.

That includes being vulnerable enough to make mistakes.

Call them what you will -- making mistakes doesn't mean you're less than your best, it just means the best you are right now isn't anything compared to the best that you will be soon.
