Why No One Wants To Help You.
If you don't know where you want to go there's a really good chance you'll end up someplace you don't want to be.
No one can help you if you don't know what you need.
You can't be taught if you don't know what you need to learn.
So much of life is spent getting necessary work done.
Prospecting. Planning. Closing deals. Running team activities. You are doing good things. But you're too tired and too busy to stop and assess what you need to take things to the next level.
And so instead of turning ambition into a group activity you struggle alone, trying eek out success at the edges. Never quite achieving the level of success that you feel you could be capable of.
Sometimes doing more requires that you take a step back and look at where you need help.
Being disciplined is about restraint, but it's also about being able to ask for cooperation from those who can help you get to where you want to be.
But if you don't know where that is the help you're asking for just sounds like whining.
And no one wants to help that guy.
