Don't Wish You Had Done More Later.
There comes a time when the game is over. The race is done. It’s over. What you could have done doesn’t matter any more. What you could do differently next time is just hopes and dreams.
What you did is what matters. There is nothing else.
But it hardly looks that simple when you're sweating it out in the heat of the moment.
When you think you’re dying, you stop planning to conquer and revert back to surviving. When you think you’re too tired to continue, you can’t seem to take enough steps in the right direction.
When you think you’ve done enough, you stop doing what needs to be done in order to make you a champion.
How will you think about your performance later?
Will you be impressed at your courage? Will you wish you would have done more?
There are no "take backs", "do-overs", or "get to do it again" options. When the race is over, you only earn what you deserve.
Nothing more. Nothing less.
So get angry about what you want for you.
Obsess about what you can do better.
Refuse to let yourself quit before you've the played the game your way.
Fight to be awesome.
