Beyond The End Of Your Nose.

Every decision matters. What you do has consequences. Good and bad.

Your decisions lead to results.

But sometimes, emotion and panic mask the terrible future  results of your immediate decisions. You are so caught up in trying to remedy the pain you feel right now that you end up making bigger mistakes.

You end up creating a bigger problems for yourself right around the corner.

You become your own worst enemy.

You destroy friendships, waste financial resources, and lose the confidence and good will of those in a position to support you. All in what seems like a blink of an eye.

Your world comes crashing down around you. Because you couldn't see beyond the end of your nose.

You were so caught up in your own pain, and crippled by your fear, that you couldn't see the help and hope of those around you.

You didn't allow yourself to pursue other options. To be inspired by the desperation of making the right decision.

And so now, bad has become worse.

Which is sad considering that you could have remedied this situation by purposefully thinking through the long term effects of making specific decisions right now.

Instead off acting irrationally, be deliberate about choosing your options.

Ask yourself:

  1. How will this look 6 months from now?
  2. Will I be embarrassed when others find out about this decision?
  3. Have I talked to everyone who could help me fix this situation?
  4. What am I not considering that would potentially offer new solutions?

The only thing worse than a bad decision is two bad decisions.

Take the time to think through your emotions, your fear, and the results you want to achieve.

Don't sacrifice your future because you are panicked right now.

Things will get better.

Your head will clear.

Don't hurt yourself in the process.
