How To Know You Are Doing Enough.

One of the age-old questions about productivity is "when enough is enough." How do you know when you've done enough?

And the answer is really quite simple:

You know you are doing enough when you get the results that you want.

That might take seconds or hours or minutes or years.  The answer is still the same.

You are doing enough when you achieve the results that you want.

Which means if you aren't there yet, you have more work to do.

More emotional investment.  More hard work.  More creativity.

It's easy to make an excuse sounds credible.

You can say that you are "pivoting" or "rethinking things over" or "taking another look" or "using data to drive our direction".

Sometimes you do need to change what you are doing.  You need to rethink your strategy.  Reboot your thinking.

More often though, if you aren't getting the results you want, the reason is simply that you aren't doing enough.

The good news is that you probably don't need a better education or more money or a better personality.

(Sure  those can help)

But heart and will and determination go a lot further.

You get ahead faster when you do more.

When you work harder. When you care more.

The hard truth is that you alone make the difference.

Are you doing enough?
