When It's Too Late.
You can't fix today's problems tomorrow. Tomorrow has problems of its own.
It's natural to hope that by avoiding hard problems that they go away eventually. That if you ignore what scares you most, your problems will lose steam and disappear.
But problems don't give up that easily.
The only thing disappearing is you.
The only thing going away is your dreams. Your chance at greatness.
The problems in front of you are probably there right now because you didn't solve them yesterday. So putting them off until tomorrow just means you're avoiding what you really need to do. You're making tomorrow impossible to solve.
And let's be clear. No one said it would be easy.
It's hard to look fear in the eye and still move forward. It's no easy task to know that you're frail and flawed and still attempt to conquer.
But it's never over until you are over.
You're not done until you're done fighting.
You can picking up your sword and go into battle or you can hide behind a clump of emotions and tell yourself that the enemy will go away tomorrow morning if stay quiet enough.
You can give in to fear.
And that's when you realize that the enemy is you. Your fear. Your confusion. Your fatigue.
Why not fight today?
You are alive to conquer. You have the tools to do so in hand. By tomorrow that might all change. You might not have a chance to take advantage of your talents tomorrow.
Which is why what needs to be done needs to be done today.
The battle can't wait for tomorrow. The journey can't start tomorrow. The sacrifice can't begin tomorrow.
Today is all you have.
Tomorrow is too late.
Tomorrow you don't get a second chance.
So do what needs to be done before it's too late. Before you give up on yourself. Before you forget the warrior inside of you.
Before you realize in shame that tomorrow should have been today.
