Yesware Delivers Email for High-Performers.
Breaking News: Email as you know it is about to change...
How many times have you jumped into your car headed for your first meeting of the day and remembered that someone you wanted to talk with hasn't emailed you back?
And, heck, now you're driving down the road and know you'll probably forget to make a note to follow up on that unanswered email.
Another miserable failure of email conversations.
And it's not because people haven't tried to fix the problem.
There are dozens of plugins' for Gmail that can add some sizzle to your email expereience.
- Gist (link): Allows you to connect together social information about the people emailing you. Shows you what your relationships are talking about on a daily basis.
- Rapportive (link): It's a dominating force behind social access to your inbox -- fast, sleek access to LinkedIn and Facebook interaction data right inside your email messages.
- Boomerang (link): Allows you to schedule emails to be sent at a later time. It's very helpful if you want to prepare thoughtful messages ahead of time.
- Syphir (link): Provides powerful filters for sorting through your email and delivering just the messages that you need at the moment.
They are all part of a better email solution, sometimes clunky, and at time frustratingly incomplete.
Which is why Yesware looks so darn promising.
Calling themselves "Email for Salespeople", founders Matt Bellows and Cashman Andrus take no prisoners in building a platform that reinvents the way sales people close deals.
And they look to make CRM irrelevant, as we know it.
Yesware attaches to your web email accounts, starting first with Gmail and Google Apps accounts. They'll be adding other web accounts and possibly Microsoft Exchange integration soon.
If you get your email online, you'll want to switch your emails over to Yesware.
The Company View
Yesware looks at the domain address of the people emailing you (the "Microsoft" in email@example.com) and provides you real-time access to data about that company.

You'll see specific information like:
- Company stock trends
- Recent news headlines
- Corporate Twitter messaging
- Personal notes
- Sales goals and timelines
And that's just to start.
Imagine having company context for your hottest contacts right next to the email that you just received.
The Contact View
Yesware looks at who you are emailing and adds a bunch of social goodness as part of the overall experience. And it's not an after-thought (which makes it much more useful). Yesware scans for any signatures in the body of your emails and creates contacts that you can use.
By the way, you can connect with LinkedIn and grab down connections that show you how to build a better relationship with the person emailing you.

Ohh... and in case that wasn't impressive enough, Yesware delivers the Mortal Combat "Finish Him" move with the ultimate in email logic.
Yesware tells you who needs to email you back.
You're sending emails to busy, important people and Yesware helps you remember who you need to re-message. Who you need to remind of your message. Who hasn't replied to your earlier email messages.
It's a feature that no other email platform anywhere (that I know about) brings to the table.
And it's killer.
So what to do?
Get in line. Get excited.

It's about time email took a turn for the better.
That turn looks to be called Yesware...
