The Science of Motivation: Self-Inertia…

Isaac Newton (refresh your high-school science if you forget who this guy is...) understood that without an attractive force (such as gravity), INERTIA caused objects to fly in a straight line rather than in a circular motion.

Example: A baseball thrown by a pitcher goes straight even though the pitchers arm moves in a circular motion.... Further, (more techy...) the INERTIA of the ball corresponds to the launch angle of the pitcher's arm... SO WHO CARE?

Ever feel like you need the motivation to "get started"? Want to reach your goals but don't know how? Need to generate some "self-inertia"?

The MOTIVATION to SUCCEED is often a simple matter of "DOING SOMETHING"... Create your own "self-inertia" by replacing worry with action.

Self-Inertia Defined: The discipline to transcend the encumbrances of the present via our visualization of future success... (i.e. live in the future and harness that desire into actionable steps to make that a reality) by replacing what we CAN DO with what we WILL DO... (i.e. stop talking about your talents, skills, and degrees and be passionate about fighting toward your success)...

NOTE: In another post, I'll write more about the power of DISCIPLINE...
