Succeeding to Fail…

The SOONER you FAIL the more time you have to SUCCEED...

This is an interesting life philosophy that I believe. Life is certainly a journey (most often a roller-coaster ride) where perception never seems like reality.

PASSIONS fade. DREAMS dim. GOALS are missed. FAILURE! So what is FAILURE?

FAILURE is life's temporary rejection of our current location in our journey toward and through our own personal destiny. That's it!

  • FAILURE is never permanent....
  • FAILURE changes with perspective...

As I strip away the layers of conventional norms and lay bare the raw essence of FAILURE, I find it to be benign - it's a characterization, it's a learning experience, it's a compass bearing.

CONCLUSION: Fail Fast! If you have to change course, then do so... Succeeding at failure is the most important element of FAILURE. When we fail (and we all will...often...), we are successful when we realize that every FAILURE expands our own capacity for SUCCESS!

MORE THOUGHTS: Personally, as I examine my own ambition, I find that my biggest successes are always closely tied to recent failures. As I meditate in my self-awareness trying to reconcile these disparate emotions (triumph v. loss), I can only think that the stark illumination of my then current weaknesses was the key motivator for the resulting success. I BELIEVE that I am stronger than any of my weaknesses; yet if I am blind to any one of them, I can expect that I will FAIL when I least suspect it!

RESPECT FAILURE, DON'T FEAR IT!!
