One Hurdle Crossed

Every day is about accomplishing micro-goals - tasks that appear small, but add up to a larger end. Goals are made up of small parts that often get left undone - largely because we are so concentrated on what we think is our goal. Big goals get done in small chunks. Those who refuse to do the small chores rarely find their end goals achieved.

Yearly resolutions to start or stop certain habits are great because they remind us that such goals are hard to achieve. It is only when we win the small battles that we see the large victory coming closer.

The battle is not about where you currently are, but in what direction you are headed.
